Yesterday I listened to NPR’s Talk of the Nation and learned about the famine in Somalia while I (almost single-handedly) picked, processed and froze twenty-six quarts of sweet corn.
I’d put away over seven quarts on Monday, so in two days we stocked up for the year. And we still have rows and rows of corn to pick!
