If while reading this post you notice a wince, it’s because I moved my left arm.
Last evening, tired from my day and tired of the pain in my ribs, I thought about how many people bear for long, long periods of time immobility, inconvenience, and otherwise debilitating discomfort. The tenuousness of comfortable living is just that–tenuousness–and this realization brings an underlying sobriety to the joy of all that is good.
